Kylie Bertucci's International | Stampin' Up! Blog Highlights May 2018

Hello and Welcome to My Blog,

Today I am joining in the fun at Kylie's International Blog Highlights and the theme for this month is to send Sara a card of thanks/ appreciation, she does so much for us demonstrators that sometimes it's just nice to give something back and sometimes it doesn't have to be anything big but something small like a card to say thanks. I have to admit I haven't done anything like this before and it made me a bit nervous to send one of my cards to Sara but then something clicked it wasn't about me or what my cards looked like, it was about showing Sara how much we appreciate her and with that this is the card I have made for her.

The products I used were:
- Card Stock: Whisper White and Berry Burst
- Designer Series Paper: Naturally Eclectic
- Stamp Set: Patal Palette and Yay You
- Big Shot: Petals & More Thinlits and Stitched Shapes Framelits
- Archival Stampin' Pad: Basic Black
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Pink Pirouette
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Wild Wasabi
- Aqua Painters
- Wink of Stella: Clear

TIPS: Don't forget to use the correct ink pad when water colouring and always let your image dry completely first. If you want a light/ faded stamped image you can do something called stamping off- so you would stamp your image once then without reapplying ink stamp your image a second time: as shown below. I also added some wink of stella to the flowers to give them some sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my card and I hope this has inspired you to start /finish a project that you have been working on. Don't forget to check out all the other cards and of course most of all if you love my card as much as I do VOTE for me by clicking HERE.

Chat Soon,
Rebecca-Jo
