March 2020 Kre8tors Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to My blog,
Today I am joining in the fun at Kre8tors Blog Hop and this month's theme is Green Monochromatic:

Which means all you will see in this blog hop is projects made using all kinds of greens but these projects are just ideas and you could most easily replace the green with your favorite colour or colours and this is what I have come up with:

The products I used were:
- Stamp Set: Thoughtful Blooms
- Punch: Small Bloom
- Card Stock: Whisper White
- Designer Series Paper: Garden Lane
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Old Olive
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Granny Apple Green
- Basic Jewels: Pearl

To make this card:
  1. To start I cut a sheet of Whisper White cardstock in half ( side opening card cut long side- top opening card cut short side). I then folded it in half and this becomes my card base measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm.
  2. I then cut a sheet of designer series paper from the Garden Lane to 14.4cm x 10cm, then glued this layer to the base card.
  3. Next I worked on my sentiment by cutting a strip of Whisper White cardstock 1.5cm x 10.5cm, then stamped my sentiment in old olive but first stamped it onto scrap piece of paper then onto the whisper white strip giving it a lighter shade of the old olive. I then glued this strip 1/3 up the card from the bottom.
  4. For the flowers I stamped them in Granny Apple Green, then punched them out with the small bloom punch. I also stamped some leafs in old olive but I cut these out with paper snips with leaving a small white line around the leaf so it will stand out against the designer series paper.
  5. I then glued the flowers in a triangle like position onto the card, then glued the leafs on.
  6. Last of all I added some bling- I did this by adding Pearls to the centers of the flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my Card and I hope
this has inspired you to start /finish a project that you have been
working on. Don't forget to continue the Blog Hop all the way around

Colour Combo Blog Hop | March 2020

Hello and Welcome to My blog,

Today I am joining in the fun at Colour Combo Blog Hop and this month's colour challenge is Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry:

I like to make a mixture of cards and want to show you that you don't have to use all of the colours in a colour challenge and with that you can see today I have only use just one colour and that's Crushed Curry.

The products I used were:
- Stamp Set: So Sentimental
- Big Shot: Stitched So Sweetly Dies
- Card Stock: Whisper White
- Designer Series Paper: Follow Your Art
- Memento Pad: Tuxedo Black
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Solid Baker's Twine: Whisper White

To make this card:
  1. To start I cut a sheet of Whisper White cardstock in half ( side opening card cut long side- top opening card cut short side). I then folded it in half and this becomes my card base measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm.
  2. I then worked on my sentiment by die cutting out a rectangle from the set Stitched So Sweetly Dies- I used the 3rd smallest rectangle and the Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Memento.
  3. To add an embellishment to this card, I tied a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine around the bottom of the Whisper White die cut.
  4. I then cut a sheet of designer series paper from the Follow Your Art to 14.7cm x 10.2cm, then glued this layer to the base leaving a little gap around the edges.
  5. To finish this card off i positioned the sentiment onto the card using some Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some height and their is no wrong way of adding or how many dimensionals you use its up to you.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my Card and I hope
this has inspired you to start /finish a project that you have been
working on. Don't forget to continue the Blog Hop all the way around
