Hopping Around The World Blog Hop| February 2020

Hello and Welcome to My blog,

Today I am joining in the fun at Hopping Around The World and this month's theme is Easter:

Today I have gone back to basics- ok let's be honest I have just moved and a lot of my craft items are still MIA :-( but here is a example of a card using not much at all and showing you don't need much to make a lovely card.

The products I used were:

- Stamp Set: Fable Friends

- Card Stock: Whisper White
- Memento Pad: Tuxedo Black

- Stampin' Write Markers: 2019-2021 In Colours

- Basic Jewels: Pearl

- Clear Block E

To make this card:

To start I cut a sheet of Whisper White cardstock in half ( side opening card cut long side- top opening card cut short side). I then folded it in half and this becomes my card base measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm.
I then used the Seaside Spray Stampin' Write Marker and draw onto a clear block in a diagonal direction, then added a couple sprays with water from about 20cm away- the more water you add the wetter the block becomes (I find a couple of sprays works well for me). I then positioned my clear block onto the front of the card.
I let it dry before adding my bunny and colouring him in using the other colours in the pack- Rococo Rose for it's ears, Pretty Peacock for the jacket and Terracotta Tile for the buttons on the jacket.
For the sentiment I used the last Stampin' Write Marker in the pack Purple Posy and coloured in the sentiment making sure the words on the stamp were covered. I then positioned this on the card as well.
Last of all I added some bling- I did this by adding 3 Pearls onto my card in a triangle like position.

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop| February 2020
