Hello and Welcome to My Blog,
Today I am joining in the 2018 Kre8tor Blog Hop and I am very excited as
this blog hop is made up of some very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world. The theme for this month is a Colour Challenge
The 5 colours are Soft Suede, Granny Green Apple, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Gray Granite. I choose to use all of them except Gray Granite and this is what I have come up with: It's never too early to make a Christmas Card-
The 5 colours are Soft Suede, Granny Green Apple, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Gray Granite. I choose to use all of them except Gray Granite and this is what I have come up with: It's never too early to make a Christmas Card-
The products I used were:
- Stamp Set: Cookie Cutter Christmas
- Big Shot: Stitched Shapes Framelits and Simple Stripes Embossing Folder
- Punch: Cookie Cutter Builder
- Punch: Cookie Cutter Builder
- Card Stock: Whisper White and Real Red
- Designer Series Paper: Brights 6"x6"
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Soft Suede
- Classic Stampin' Pad: Pumpkin Pie
- VersaMark
- Stampin' Emboss Powder: Clear
-Embossing Buddy
- Stampin' Dimensionals
TIPS: To give the reindeer a shine I have used a heat embossing technique, In which instead of using coloured embossing powder you use an ink pad and clear embossing powder. The way in which you do this technique is you apply VersaMark first to the stamp then add the colour ink pad on top and then stamp, next step would be as normal add the clear embossing powder and heat.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my card and I hope this has inspired you to start /finish a project that you have been working on. Don't forget to continue the Blog Hop all the way around to see what everyone has come up with.

Cute card. Thank you for sharing your technique you used on the reindeer. I didn't know it. I would assume the ink would compromise the stickiness of versamark. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you. That's alright, It's exciting to see a new technique and surprising the ink doesn't compromise the stickiness of the versamark.
